Affirmable is a UK software and consultancy company, founded in 2024. We build and run our own products, and bring the same team to your organisation to build, create and advise. Our vision is simple: together, we can make it happen.

Meet the founder
Martin Tanner, Founder and CEO
Martin spent nearly 20 years across solutions, bids, sales and data in the recruitment, HR services and employability sectors before founding Affirmable in 2024.
He's also been writing code since he was eight, sending BASIC programs from his ZX Spectrum off to publishers with eager anticipation. Affirmable brings both halves together.

From the front line of employment support to leading bids, sales, solutions and data for major global recruitment providers.
That breadth is why Affirmable thinks commercially and delivers technically: Martin has sat on both sides of the table.

Operational foundations
After supporting customers in financial difficulty at a well-known retail bank, he joined a large employability provider in 2007 as an Employment Adviser, and within a year was Business Manager, leading a large team helping long-term unemployed people into sustainable work.

Winning bids
He joined Business Development in 2009, winning national employability and skills programmes, then became Head of Bids in 2011, leading the team that won large-scale recruitment contracts worth hundreds of millions of pounds.

Leading sales
As Bid Director at another leading global recruitment provider from 2014, he built a team winning multi-million pound contracts, and from 2016 led a joined-up central sales team to multiple transformational new business wins.

Solutions, implementation and data
In 2019 he set up a Solutions function, designing future-proof delivery models with HR technology vendors across permanent and contingent hiring. He then took on implementation and the organisation-wide data strategy, covering millions of lines of data, used effectively and compliantly.

In 2024 he founded Affirmable, bringing software development and consultancy together, and still works across every part of it today.
